Services That Geraldine Provides
She works with both adults and children. Her specialist fields include Dysphasia, Specific Language Disorder, Stammering, Down Syndrome, Autism, Dyspraxia, Elective Mutism and communication impairments arising out of generalised learning and emotional difficulties. She works one to one and in small groups and will see clients within the home or their educational settings. Geraldine also offers coaching for children and adults who are poorly motivated and struggle with low self-esteem. "My move into private practice has meant I have further developed my hands on experience enabling me to be more professionally astute and therapeutically effective."
Her work with younger children is play based but with a long term focus on enabling them to become happy and confident learners within classroom settings. Geraldine can act as an expert witness at Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tribunals and will undertake assessments for legal cases. She offers training and mentoring in all of the areas within which she specialises. |
